Required file formats for production
For graphics that are to be cut in VINYL or produced as 3D logos:
Artwork MUST BE VECTOR ARTWORK (i.e.converted to curves or outlines).
Accepted formats include: Adobe Illustrator (version CS3 or lower), EPS,
Corel Draw (version 7 or lower). If you are unable to supply one of these formats, you must supply us with fonts used or good quality printout of your logo (as large as possible on 8.5" x 11" sheet) and we will re-create artwork by scanning it and cleaning it up. This will be done for artwork fee of $70.00 / hr.
NOTE: word processing files (such as: Document, Text, Microsoft Word,
Power Point, Microsoft Publisher), as well as: JPG, BMP, TIFF, GIF files are
NOT considered vector artwork and are NOT suitable formats. Even though
these programs support "picture files" and have colour capabilities, it is not
possible to cut graphics from these files.
For graphics that are to be outputed as digital prints,
accepted formats include:
Adobe Illustrator (version CS3 or lower)
AI, EPS or PDF file formats
- all text must be converted to curves (outlines)
- Images used should be at least 100 dpi at full size
- if precise colours match is required, use and specify Pantone colour;
otherwise colours should be in CMYK mode
Adobe Photoshop (version CS or lower)
PSD, JPG, BMP, TIF file formats
- must supply fonts used
- images used should be at least 100 dpi at full scale
- if precise colours match is required, use and specify Pantone colour;
otherwise colours should be in CMYK mode
Corel Draw (version 7 or lower)
CDR or EPS file formats
- all text must be converted to curves (outlines)
- Images used should be at least 100 dpi at full size
- if precise colours match is required, use and specify Pantone colour;
otherwise colours should be in CMYK mode
